If this topic has been posted before I apologize in advance for the repeat. In mind of the "lightbulb" thread, I would like to hear your thoughts on this.

I remember reading this column in the paper one day, years ago and it really hit me. I hadn't realized I was even in an abusive relationship until then. I had always known I wasn't happy... but you know how a psycopath spouse can cause the victim to believe that the sky will be sunny tomorrow.

This was my lightbulb moment. Of the 15 points listed, 13 could have been written by anyone on the outside to describe my ex.
