Hi everyone.

I have been lying low for a while. My health gave out and I ended up in a severe ME relapse, but am on the up again and have learnt my lesson, in overdoing things.

Something I was wondering about last night is, during the time I was with p ie 23 years, there were all sorts of weird things going on, like the houses we were living in were 'haunted'. They were always cold for example no matter how much heat was put in, and the windows always streamed with condensation in winter, and the neighbours houses did not. One house had an invasion of what you call blowflies (bluebottle to us.)

And then things would be seen like moving lights, figures, noises would be heard. As a Christian, I have my own interpretation of this phenomena, but I would be interested to hear if this sort of thing is common?

Oh my Gosh!! When I was married to my second husband for 21 yrs. I experienced wierd things too. 3am nightly the attic window always rattled loudly in one house. Cold drafts in always same area and nothing to cause them. People said that in the attic window in our 4 square house they saw a figure.Basement room was 'odd' feeling and friends would even say this...like there was a ghost of a man...violent energy.unusual opque white shadows too. I thought left over energies from people that once lived there.Then I thought they possessed my X. I have no really idea about it for sure though.

I had an weird experience too, and never would have had to courage to post it if you ladies didn't first. It was probably just a coincidence, but it was when I began to think the P was just plain evil.

It was the 2nd time I kicked the P out of my house. I got all his belongings together, & put them in the garage. My plan was to just leave the garage unlocked for him, so I didn't have to see him. Well shortly before he was due to arrive, I ran something else of his I found down to the garage... it was like the Amityville Horror. The entire garage was filled with black flies.... hundreds and hundreds of them. It stopped my blood cold in my veins. The time elapsed between when I 1st put stuff there and found them, less than 2 hrs. I was never so creeped out before.

I went out, and he came to get his things. I talked to him afterward. There was not a single live fly when he arrived... just dead ones. I returned home and sprayed every square inch of the house to make sure they all were gone. It really shook me up.

I was raised Catholic. I had the house blessed a week later. I still believe in my heart the P was pure evil incarnated into a human body. As to the flies... in my mind a sign from Above to run for my life.

I have frequently reflected on the similarity of
some psychopaths to a "Screwtape demon".

the "Screwtape Letters" is a book by C.S. Lewis, and
is a bit of speculative Christian theology on demonology.

Lewis doesn't assert that demons exist, merely that it
is sometimes helpful to believe that they do.

the book goes into methods demons use to achieve spiritual
degradation such as victims of psychpaths are observed to
experience, and demonic "soul-stealing".

this book might be helpful if you view the world
this way.

How are you? Thank you kindly for the post. I always enjoy your insight and recommendations.

I can honestly say I am not certain of how I view the world of demons, but had previously enjoyed reading accounts of mysterious happenings, and therefore thank you for the book recommendation. Lately, I have found that my reading materials totally exceed the time I have to indulge, but will add that one to my list. I know that I have found great value in reading as a means to attempt to understand things.

I know during the time I was involved with the P, I became certain that he was evil. Now, in retrospect, I think it was a concept that I grasped in an attempt to avoid realizing he is just a bad human being.

Either way, life is so much better without him and his daily influence. And though it may seem silly, seeing those flies that day, helped me to want to get as far away from him as I could. Reclaiming my spirituality, sense of self and sense of mind has kept me away.

I hope this finds all well with you and your friend.

How are you? Loved seeing the smiles on your post, even small steps can be so very rewarding! Kudos to you in finally getting V to consent to a casual get together! You are a very good friend to be so patient, considerate and thoughtful on her behalf. I know during my darkest days, if I had let just one person into my isolation, much suffering could have been saved.

I would very much enjoy hearing the details if you want to share, perhaps they could provide insight to others trying to understand how to help a V.

Hello everyone
i don't write often but read a lot to keep me strong, except lately with Katrina i have been more than busy.
Tonight i decided to take some time to read and i just want to share a few things with my ex-ex-p.

When i would see him in public or going to meet with him my body would be super cold and i would be trembling-shaking in my boots litterally
until he would come to me and tell me something nice that he was glad to see me then my coldness would go away
but if he would tell me something mean or accuse me of something stupid then i would be cold for a longer time.


Another thing when we would get together when i knew i should not be with him as soon as we would be close together a few time accident would happen right by us on a street corner or a fight would happen and he would get a kick out of it.

And so many time when he would get violent with me i would cast Satan out of him in the name of Jesus, in my head he could not hear me, and he would calm down to a limit enough for me to run away from the situation.

So many time though i did not have time to pray i would get a hit for sure, and i would bargain with God, OK God if you get me out of this one i won't see him again and i would be right back the next day.

I remember once he wanted me to drive him home as soon as he is in my car he starts to argue acting jealous, by now i knew it was just one of those act to get money out of me and he did not feel for sex, i kept telling him to get out of the car but he won't he just loves to argue and scare the hell out of me with stories that don't make sense,
i got an idea to throw the 10dollars that he wanted, out the car,
sure enough it did work he got out to pick it up and i flew out of there.
Quite a lot of time i had to do trick to get away from him.

He would tell me that he was a warlock or a witch himself and he would put spell on people that did not want to be his friend anymore.

We both know a lot of people in music world and he would tell different story to each of his girlfriends or guys, one that i was so jealous that i wanted have her killed, that was pretty scary, she would be leaving horrible messages on my phone
i was telling her that i was happy that he was gone he was nothing but trouble
another one he said that i was harrassing him
but thank God after one month when she received her phone bill she saw that he was calling me 20 times a day, i would pick up the phone and just hung up on him so she could see on the bill that he was calling me, a few time i would talk to him to see where his head was at,
he kept saying he wanted to marry me and begging me to come back
one night he was playing and he was begging me to come and see him play, i told him no because he has a girlfriend and he kept saying it was just a friend
so i went to see him even though i knew he was with her for her money (i do enjoy his music) and the lady told me after that month of the phone bill that the night i showed up he told her i was harassing him.
That is just a few things i mention, there are many more crazy thing he said to people, sometime i would have a dream about mud on my feet or mud on my white clothes and the next day someone would tell me huh, freedom, do you know what p is saying about you?

We are not friend anymore and he knows that but when he call in a blue moon he acts like we are still together I got a call from him not long after Katrina asking right away did i get money from FEMA and that is all he wanted to know then a few days ago call at 3 in the morning, he use to do that a lot, "Hey! Honey what'you doing?" I just hung up and turned my phone off.

Hey Freedom and SFH23... It's awesome to see your posts! I'm glad things are going so well (as long as the NUTCASE P leaves you alone, right!?)... I had a phone call from "mine" out of the blue early last month because he spotted me in a mall - I also hung up as soon as I heard his eerie voice (he also acted as if no time had passed since we last "talked") .... I also turned off my phone, and he left a long message, repeating himself over and over and and telling me how he "would love to see me in person, actually NEEDED to see me, yada, yada, yada..." Of course I never returned his call, and he never called again since. THANK YOU GOD!!! But, I will probably ALWAYS be "on my toes" for bumping into him or "surprise" phone calls, etc... Actually, this is a GOOD thing I learned from knowing the P... I am so much more cautious of people (especially those who LOOK sweet and trustworthy!!!) This site and all of you have been lifesavers!!

I also had many "WEIRD THINGS" happen when I was "involved" with the P. Towards the end of our "relationship" (if you can call it that?!) I was meeting him across the street from where I worked to kindly "break it" to him that I couldn't see him anymore (He was truly beginning to SCARE me)... So, I spotted him across the street and walked across and the SECOND I made eye contact with him - I twisted my ankle and fell flat on my face! I banged up my head, my knee and BROKE my foot! I am totally convinced it was God's way of telling me STOP SEEING THIS EVIL CREATURE ONCE AND FOR ALL!!! It literally "knocked me off my feet!"... There were other instances too... I'll post them sometime. Anyway, these freaks of nature are sure scary and to be avoided for LIFE! Love and best wishes to you and all the others.... Tiasa XO

OH! I almost FORGOT! What I also wanted to mention was the word "WEIRD"... I used it A LOT when I first met "my" P. Of course I said it in a "loving" jovial manner "You're weird!" or "You act weird!" OR "You're being weird!" ... I remember it very vividly: He would get visably upset and say "Don't EVER use that word around me!" I'd be stunned because he would get so serious (and I'm often kidding and joking) -- I would say "Lighten up... I don't mean "YOU" are weird" (Although I was just in denial that he WAS TRULY WEIRD!!!!!!!!)... anyway, sometimes I still "slipped" and STILL called him "WEIRD" (I couldn't help myself... I'm HONEST!) ;-) I remember how strange I thought it was that he would get soooo upset just by being called "weird" (and now I understand why... it's because he KNEW it was the TRUTH!!!)
